High productivity polishing machine for marble slabs
The honing-polishing units are in aluminium alloy to limit weight and maximise stiffness.
Uniform reflectance on slab surface
The two brushless motors assure constant torque, both in maximum speed traverse movements and in reduced speed movements during slab edge direction changes. The brushless motors mean deceleration and acceleration ramps are perfectly controlled.
Structurally robust for durable high precision
The structure was designed to bring the spindle beam as close as possible to the work table thus eliminating the need for extensions on the lap plates to reach the slab.
The honing-polishing units feature an anodised aluminium alloy structure designed to limit weight of the system while maximising its stiffness.
The lift/lower mechanism is balanced by a pair of cylinders with protected internal rods. Each head is equipped with a pressure regulator.
Belt sliding surface in steel
The belt sliding surface is made of steel with the option of adding an interchangeable table with rolled steel sheets as an accessory. The sheets are fastened to the underlying table with screws to allow rapid replacement when necessary. This accessory is recommended to preserve the good condition and flatness of the steel table in time.
Total safety
The front sliding safety/sound absorbing panels are composed of an ABS sandwich structure.
High energy efficiency and reduced operating costs
The design goal is to maximise ROI considering the entire life cycle of the machine and the maintenance costs linked to the technical solutions adopted.
