Seco DC dry-running rotary vane vacuum pumps/compressors have been specifically developed for paper handling in printing presses and postpress processing machines. They provide reliable vacuum to hold, move or transport paper. Blast air is also generated to separate individual sheets of paper from a stack. The vacuum levels can be matched exactly to the requirements of printing equipment, and may be adjusted for throughput speed and paper quality.
Dry-running rotary vane technology has been continuously developed and optimized by Busch in the course of over 30 years. High levels of availability and operational reliability are the benefits of ongoing product advancement. Seco DC dry-running rotary vane vacuum pumps/compressors are characterized by their robust construction and self-lubricating vanes made from special graphite Aerodur 274 Zirkon.
These vanes are extremely resistant to both wear and humidity. They have a lifetime three times longer than any other conventional vanes on the market, ensuring extremely high uptime and minimized operating costs.
Perfectly synchronized components and materials, effective heat discharge and stateof- the-art precision manufacturing ensure reliable oil-free vacuum and blast air generation.
