The BVM stretch banders place a top and bottom film around the products and with a film stretching device the machine forms a tight band around the products.
In this film packaging machine, the film is stretched by means of a rubberized retraction roller and the degree of tension is infinitely adjustable. As a result, stacks and multipacks of, for example bottles or cans, can be packed tightly. The use of a separate shrink tunnel allows, depending on the product, the shrinking of a possible film overlap.
With this packaging system, the products are either fed in line via a transport conveyor or at a 90° angle. The packaging formations (multipacks) are either produced in the packaging machine or already pre-grouped on-site. The stretch bander unit works with an upper and a lower film which are sealed together to form a so-called "film curtain".
The filmis sealed around the product during transport on the conveyor or infeed. In the subsequent shrink tunnel, the products are sealed together to form a sturdy and transportable package.
The shrinking process in the banderoling machine with shrink tunnel can be regulated via an electronic temperature control system and adjustable air flaps within the shrink area.
