Two movable beams with a 180-degree rotating system designed to position themselves as in the famous 1932 photo 'Lunch Atop a Skyscraper'.
The system allows 7 people to sit safely on the suspended beam, thanks to a hidden, silent, high-precision mechanism. Structure certified for static and dynamic loading.
The interactive experience unveiled at Rockefeller Center, called 'The Beam,' allows visitors to recreate this famous photo. The steel beam is located on the 69th floor of the Top of the Rock and rises 12 feet above the Observation Deck, then makes a 180-degree turn and takes the photo overlooking Central Park and Manhattan.
