• Cage Drive Drum indicated for agriculture and lighter jobs although with a high degree of dirt in the return of the belt. • The squirrel cage made of plates or inverted ‘U’, prevent the product, be it fruit stones, gravel or others, from being crushed between the wall of the drum tube and the lower cover of the conveyor belt. • Built with plates of different thicknesses, inverted ‘U’ or even with round tubes; that form a cage in which the product that returns against the drum in the return of the belt, penetrates and leaves easily, preventing a possible breakage of the covering of the belt and / or skidding of the same. Drums based on solid plates or rims, inverted ‘U’, solid round or even round tubes welded on the support discs fixed to the central axis, which make up the so-called ‘squirrel cage’.
