Overload clutch

Sheargard Overload Couplings offer low-cost protection on functions where torque control and shaft synchronization are needed. With a compact and low-inertia unit, the couplings can transmit high torques that can go up to 125,000 Nm. Timely delivery is enabled by the standard stock products. When used with a limit or proximity switch, an optional motor monitor plate can allow the use of the machine without the power supply, as well as the use of alarm signals in case of an overload.
