The FZ-iWP Series are the worlds FIRST and ONLY IP65-compliant, dust and waterproof precision balances that achieve a 1 mg resolution and provide a fully automatic, internal calibration function. The IP65 enclosure, as defined by the international standard IEC 60529, prevents the ingress of dust and withstands water jetting from any direction. A&D is the first and only company to achieve this for balances with a minimum weighing value of 1 mg, providing solutions to various problems inherent in precision balances in the past. For example, if a balance is used in an environment permeated with oil mist or fine dust particles, the oil and dust will gradually get inside the balance and eventually cause a break down. Even simply spilling liquid over a balance by accident can cause irreversible damage. A&Ds FZ-iWP Series eliminates such worries. The FZ-iWP Series also features a compact footprint (B5), fast stabilization speed (1 sec), clear VFD display, and a statistical calculation function. Furthermore, various options are available, including a dust and waterproof RS-232C cable (the interface is standard), Quick USB (no driver or software installation required), LAN-Ethernet (communication with multiple balances), a built-in rechargeable battery, and an animal-weighing pan.
