Description

Tilt switches (QG-series) is a type of switch used at a certain angle in comparison with the horizon similar to the old mercury switch. It is an inclinometer with a changing output. In view of the fact that the gravity serves as a reference just like tilt switches, in the same time, the angle switch can be escalated anywhere, while achieving maximum mounting freedom. Latest generation of the tilt switches related to the DIS sensors are based on the MEMS technology and smart microcontroller algorithms. Finally, the single or twin axis switches are used at desired switching angle. The NPN and PNP are available outputs. An optional internal buzzer is available as an option. Everything is housed in the QF40. It has more accurate tilt switches with higher thermal stability that is required for the execution of QG65 housing. Tilt switches are utilized for different functions, including signalling valve positions and maximum tilt security. Many of the DIS sensors in the QG range uses a unique universal plastic housing concept, known as QUADRO®. The advantage is the very dense size, simple installation and the fact that the electronics are fully sealed, which provides a high degree of ingress protection (IP67). The housing is also available in metal (aluminum and stainless steel).
