Description

Overview
DOPAG offers individually configured greasing stations for manual or compact semi-automatic workstations. The component to be lubricated is positioned in a component-specific adapter; dispensing is triggered by a push button, foot pedal or mechanical switch. The system delivers precise, repeatable lubricant application with optimised quantity and distribution.

Key benefits
  • Maximum flexibility through customised configuration to match component geometry
  • Optimised material feed using 3D-printed adapters to reduce material consumption
  • Supports external, internal and dot application; application types can be combined
  • Multiple lubrication points can be applied simultaneously to improve cycle times and productivity
  • High repeatability and process reliability thanks to volumetric metering (< ±1 %)
  • Cost-effective alternative to brush application with fast return on investment

Design of the greasing station
The greasing station is composed of several modules:
  • Component-specific grease adapter (typically 3D-printed)
  • Volumetric metering valve
  • Housing cover with integrated status LED
  • Material supply (reservoir/pump depending on configuration)

Operation and ergonomics
The station is designed for compact manual or semi-automatic workstations. Operators place the component in the adapter; pressing the component or activating a button/pedal triggers dosing. A status LED provides visual feedback on successful dosing. Compared with manual brush application, the system reduces rework and contamination.

Adapters and application possibilities
Adapters are customised to the component and typically manufactured by 3D printing. Application patterns include external greasing, internal greasing, dot application or combinations; several points can be lubricated at once.
  • Geometric freedom ensures ideal material distribution
  • Flow-optimised guidance reduces material loss and increases dispensing speed
  • Adapters available in metal or plastic depending on process requirements

Process reliability and metering performance
Volumetric metering valves enable dosing from 0.001 ml up to several millilitres depending on valve type/size. Valves are largely insensitive to pressure, viscosity and temperature fluctuations, ensuring high repeatability and process reliability over a wide dosing range.

Applications / Use cases
Suitable for precise, repeatable lubrication tasks in manual or semi-automatic production where clean, uniform application and reduced material consumption are required. Typical use cases: lubrication of internal cylinder surfaces, O-rings and seals, and multi-point lubrication tasks.

Technical specifications
  • Application modes: external, internal, dot, combination
  • Activation: push button, foot pedal or mechanical switch (component pressing)
  • Metering method: volumetric metering valve (< ±1 % repeatability)
  • Metering volume (typical): from 0.001 ml up to several millilitres (depending on valve)
  • Adapters: component-specific, typically 3D-printed (metal or plastic selectable)
  • Operator feedback: integrated status LED
  • Designed for manual or compact semi-automatic workstations
  • Multiple lubrication points: simultaneous application possible to optimise cycle time
