The Nanoject II™ Auto-Nanoliter Injector, manufactured by Drummond Scientific Company, is particularly devised for performing extremely delicate nanoliter injection procedurec into oocytes, embryos as well as tissues. This instrument features an automated microprocessor-controlled microinjection pipette that can deliver precise nanoliter volumes accurately. It also has a remote-controlled and non-rotating plunger that eliminates the vibrations, thus enabling a more precise injection while reducing the possible cell rupture. This injector must be supplied with sufficient borosilicate glass capillaries when preparing 400 injection tips (standard softening point is 780°C. It is also applicable to mount this injector on almost all of the micromanipulators. This injector presents several operating speeds, ranging from 23 nL per second to 92 nL per second.
