Description

Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) Dürr Megtec wet electrostatic precipitators offer highly efficient control of submicron particulate, heavy metals, acid mists and condensed metal fumes and organics. Wet ESP Application Areas and Benefits Our experience includes installations in the wood products and pelletizing industries, regenerative and metallurgical sulfuric acid plants, petroleum refineries, and waste-to-energy applications. Wet ESPs are a proven polishing filter for reducing sulfuric acid mist, fine particulates, condensed metal fumes and organics, especially where a wet solution is preferred to minimize the capture of condensable particulate. Low operating and maintenance costs Ultra-low particulate emissions (solids, mist and fine particulate) Total system capability for integration with other pollution control devices Wet ESP Construction Materials of Construction We offer all-steel and all-alloy designs, with materials chosen based on specific applications. Modular Design Wet ESP modules are shop-fabricated, allowing for easy transport. Small Footprint, High Structural Strength The hexagonal, common-wall tubes provide high structural strength and minimize materials of construction. With a lower overall weight and smaller footprint, our design is more economical to construct and install. Reliable Rigid Discharge Electrode Design Our rigid discharge electrode (RDE) design is based on years of research and commercial experience to match the specific application.
