Two right angle prisms cemented together with a partially reflecting surface on the internal (protected) face
All dielectric coatings of non-polarizing laser beamsplitters are optimized to be insensitive to polarization at designed wavelengths. The coatings hold both the s- and p-polarization components to the same ratio of reflection-to-transmission over a specific laser wavelength region.
