Modular telecontrol system MFW series

When developing the MFW telecontrol system the focus lied on flexibility and functionality. Consequently a universal telecontrol basis, which combines both demands, was made. A large number of integrated system functions and predefined parameters make the handling very easy. The MFW can be configured without any special knowledge, put into operation and be adapted at any time. The clever modular design avoids data tables and file imports for the configuration. Thereby the telecontrol signals like indications and count pulses are automatically transmitted to the concerned station. Another advantage of the modular concept is, that the PLC can access to all connected stations automatically and thus can create a process image of the overall system. The MFW telecontrol system consists of compact devices, which connect telecontrol, modem and SPS with each other. Additionally the MFW can use a wide range of transmission media and profits of the advantages of each transmission mode. Thanks to standardized protocols and automatic presetting of system parameters, the connection of the MFW to the existing control system is very simple. Through the modular extensibility both the number of stations and the I/O quantity structure can individually be adapted to any appli-cation. If new transmission routs should be added, there is no need to rethink. The overall system of MFW does not depend on the transmission media, which guarantees a uniform operation.
