A transmitter on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information by radio to the receiver. This is simply plugged in between the socket and the mains plug of the extractor hood and only releases the power supply when the window is tilted or open. The mains plug fuse prevents the appliance plug of the cooker hood from being reconnected. The receiver is simply plugged between the socket and the mains plug of the cooker hood. The mains plug fuse prevents the appliance plug of the cooker hood from being accidentally reconnected.
