The Central Plant Controller is a device that monitors plant data and communicates to the grid operator, via the IEC 61850 protocol, real-time data on the instantaneous status of the plant, as well as the capability to limit active power upon command from the DSO.
WHAT DOES THE CCI DO?- Plant data monitoring
- Data exchange with the DSO via the IEC 61850 communication standard
- Regulation and control to ensure that the plant operates in compliance with the CEI 0-16 standard at the grid connection point (PoC)
ADVANTAGES- Integrated UPS
- Power quality monitoring
- User LAN network surge protection device
- Data accessibility for energy monitoring
- Remote assistance via LAN - LTE modem
FUNCTIONAL PERFORMANCESPF1 MONITORINGPlant observability and monitoring of energy consumption.
Communication to the DSO via the IEC 61850 protocol of the following data:
- active power
- reactive power
- voltage
PF2 CONTROLRemote control of the plant:
- active power limitation
- voltage regulation at the PoC
OPTIONALPF3 OPTIMIZATION- Participation in plant management optimization programs
- Participation in the ancillary services market (MSD)
