Description

Overview

The Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) is designed to measure a wide range of stack and process emissions and provide continuous, real-time reporting to support regulatory compliance and environmental management. The system integrates multiple sensor technologies with remote calibration, cloud connectivity and data-logging capabilities for low-maintenance operation.

Features
  • Detection of toxic gases and particulates (SPM).
  • Configurable data upload interval: 1 to 30 minutes.
  • Optional online remote calibration.
  • Optional online system-failure alarms.
  • Built-in cloud connector for online data transfer.
  • Password-protected access for operators and regulatory authorities.
  • Real-time response for immediate processing and display.

Applications
  • Power generation plants
  • Cement manufacturing plants
  • Pharmaceutical industry
  • Chemical industry
  • Petrochemical and refinery operations
  • Pulp and paper plants

Technical specifications
  • Measured parameters: SPM, SOx, NOx/NO, CO, CO2, O2.
  • Working temperature (general): -20°C to 40°C. Storage temperature: -40°C to 60°C. Ambient range (general): -20°C to 60°C.
  • Measurement technologies: NDIR for SOx, NO, CO, CO2, O2; Tribo/opacity for SPM (electrostatic charge detection principle).
  • SPM performance: particle size ≥ 0.3 µm; measurement range 0.1 mg/m³ to 1 kg/m³; example ranges 0–1000 mg/Nm³ and 0–800 mg/Nm³; resolution 0.1 mg/Nm³.
  • NDIR gas ranges & resolution: SOx 0–1000 ppm (1 ppm); NO 0–1000 ppm (1 ppm); CO 0–1000 ppm (1 ppm); CO2 0–5000 ppm (1 ppm); O2 0–20% (0.01%).
  • Sensor operating temperatures (examples): SPM operating temp 10–500°C; many gas sensors 0–45°C (NDIR sensors listed at 0–45°C for SOx/NO/CO/CO2/O2).
  • NDIR performance: precision ±2%FS; repeatability ±1%FS; stability <±2%FS per 24 h; expected sensor life ~3 years (in air).
