This machine is built on a modular platform and provides flexibility for future expansion. The SM+ filament winder can be easily extended for up to a five-spindles. This multi-spindle winding machine allows up to nine spindles to significantly increase production throughput. An overhead offset carriage beam facilitates loading/unloading, improves cleaning, and removes trip hazards from the floor. Composite part manufacturing is streamlined with an easy-to-use interface and winding software: FiberGrafiX®. The SM+ is greatly suited for any pressure vessels, including CNG and CHG tanks. The SM+ filament winder is a standardized filament winder with all the standard product line benefits such as optimized price, reduced lead time, trusted reliability, and flexibility for future expansion.
