Overview The intelligent autonomous patrol robot P-Guard is an all-terrain mobile platform designed for continuous patrolling and security operations. It integrates navigation, payload (sensors & cameras) and communication systems to support autonomous missions and remote-operated interventions.

Mobility and endurance P-Guard is all-terrain with climbing ability up to 20 cm on slopes of up to 25°. It uses four driven wheels each powered by an electric motor, reaches up to 12 km/h and operates from -20°C to +50°C. Continuous patrol autonomy is 8 hours; the robot automatically returns to its charging station when batteries are low and reaches full charge in 2 hours. Battery lifespan is approximately 3,000 charge cycles.

Navigation & communications Navigation provides centimeter-level positioning and high repeatability. Telecommunication works via secure Wi‑Fi (Mesh) or public/private 4G networks. The platform detects and avoids static and dynamic obstacles and supports secure tele-operation via joystick.

Payload — Image & Sound Onboard payload includes four HD color cameras for immersive 360° coverage plus a panoramic turret. The turret houses a thermal camera and a day/night camera with 32x optical zoom and adaptive IR illumination, enabling observation up to 500 m. Two loudspeakers and one microphone enable remote communication and tele-interpellation.

Visibility & deterrence Fitted with a beacon light and two LED headlights, P-Guard ensures day/night visibility to deter intruders and reduce collision risk. Total weight (including payload) is 250 kg; dimensions L 150 cm × W 110 cm × H 160 cm, providing a stable and deterrent platform.
