Bayonet lock resistance thermometers are ideally suited for temperature monitoring of machines and tools in manufacturing and for industrial motor protection.
• plug-in thermometer with bayonet lock connector
• temperature range from -70°C ... +260°C
• easy and quick assembly/disassembly
• especially suited for monitoring of bearing temperature in electrical motors
• IECEx und ATEX certification for the use in hazardous areas
• TR certificate for the Eurasian Customs Union
EPHY-MESS thermometers with bayonet lock are assembled with one or more sensors, which are located in a stainless steel sleeve and protected by a spring against bending. The thermometer operates with high mechanic reliability because of the adjustable bayonet cap and its latching locking device nipple and provides high reliability in the temperature measurement.
The defined and adjustable pressing guarantees stable thermic coupling against mechanical vibrations or against elongations caused by temperature change. Furthermore the bayonet cap can be screwed to adjust either the immersion depth within the drill hole or to adjust the spring tension according to customized set-up.
The sensors allow an operating temperature range from -50°C to +260°C, limited by the maximum allowed temperature of the components. One can order different sleeve lengths and diameters (between 6 - 9 mm) in combination with anti-bending springs in different lengths, 50 mm to 310 mm as standard. In addition to the straight versions angled feed assemblies reduce the bending height. The minimum cable length of the thermometer is equal to 170 mm.
