Description

The microprocessor controlled programmable laboratory Power Supplies »E/PSI 8000-T« of EPS Electronic Power Supplies are very compact and rugged devices and incorporate interesting features with small dimensions. The tower design allows space saving conceptual design of even complex and high productive applications, like for example test equipment with variable power for various demonstrations and testing purposed of research and development or educational areas. The units are equipped with a flexible auto-ranging output stage (>1kW) which provides a higher output voltage at lower output current, or a higher output current at lower output voltage, always limited to the maximum nominal output power. Output voltages up to 360VDC, currents upon 60A at an output power of 1500W are available. A parallel operation as Master-Slave is via the analog interface possible. A Standby Switch as energy saving mode is integrated at the front side. Set values and actual values of output voltage, output current and output power are clearly represented on the graphic display. The user can define and recall four different presets of set values, supervise set values and actual values by definite limits. So it is able to operate the unit intuitively. To prevent unintentional operations, all operations controls can be locked.
