Description

This is an electro-hydraulical setup for cupping tests. It offers a maximum drawing force of 1000 kN and a corresponding infinitely variable blank holder. The blank holder is proportionally controlled by a pressure regulating valve with clamping stroke of 180 mm. The drawing speed (200 mm/min. max) is controlled by a proportional distributing valve with pressure balance. The maximum bulge diameter is 200 mm. A PLC provides automation and tests are carried out automatically till stoping at the piece's failure. Drawing force and blank holder force are given on analogue and digital outputs. The tester is equipped with independent bulge oil feeding and a tool change switch (key switch required for changing FLC test tools). The machine has a mounting for drawing die and a sheet holder plate, according to Ord.-Nos. 1696.00.32 and 1697.00.32. There is an FLC ball punch (100 to 199 mm dia.) according to Ord.-Nos. 1698.00.32 and 1699.00.32. The hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic aggregate, and control devices are contained in the body of the machine, which has a floor-mounted casing. The test area is protected by rigid, transparent lids.
