Add-on modules – Mechanical tool options for maximum versatility on one platformThe eurolaser systems can be specifically extended with mechanical tool options. Thanks to their modular design, additional processing tools can be integrated alongside the laser – tailored to your application and materials.
This creates a 3-in-1 solution in which laser processing and mechanical operations can be carried out in parallel on a single machine.
Combination of different processing methodsBy integrating precision tools from Zünd Systemtechnik AG, a wide range of additional processing options becomes available. In addition to laser cutting, mechanical processes can also be implemented, significantly expanding the range of applications.
Typical processing operations include:
- Bevels (chamfering)
- Milling grooves
- Mitre cuts and V-grooves
- Countersinks and blind holes
This enables applications that go beyond conventional laser processing.
Extended material rangeThe use of mechanical tools also allows materials to be processed that are not suitable, or only partially suitable, for laser cutting:
- PVC sheets, films and foams
- Teflon® and metal-coated materials
- Higher-density PU foams
- Corrugated and sandwich board materials
- Composites unsuitable for laser processing
- Thick polycarbonate sheets
Advantages in daily production- Parallel processing: laser and mechanical tools can be used simultaneously
- Fast tool change: ergonomic and efficient
- High flexibility: multiple processing methods combined in one system
- Upgradeable: modules and tools can be added at any time
- Ease of use: intuitive integration into existing workflows
- Compatibility: suitable for use with optical camera recognition systems for printed materials
Efficiency and investment securityBy combining multiple processing technologies in a single system, additional machine investments can be reduced while increasing overall system utilisation. The result is a flexible and cost-efficient solution for a wide range of applications and industries.
