DETAILED DESCRIPTION How it works?: Strip conveyors are based on a frame made of steel profiles. The basic version of the conveyor is comprised of at least two strings, but any number of strings can be used depending on the type of transported material. Each string can be equipped with an independent tensioning and transport strip drive system. The drive is transmitted from the gear motor on the drive shaft, which makes it possible to maintain a fixed rotation rate of each string. The strips move over a special sliding profile made of plastic highly resistant to abrasion. The whole structure is installed in a rigid and stable frame. Types of used strips: cog belts, round strips, V-belts with various carry surfaces. Lifted strip conveyors perfectly co-operate with roller conveyors, especially when transferring cargo from one transport line to another. The lifting of strip conveyors can be based on pneumatic, mechanical, or hydraulic solution.
