Evoqua water technologies has developed the Barrier® A UV system which is an operator-friendly solution for low and medium flow rate disinfection application ranging from 44 to 660 US gpm. It has a built-in amalgam UV lamp-based system which makes small-sized installations possible. This system also offers the lowest-life cycle cost in its class making the lamps powerful yet efficient. It is also built to emit UV-C light at a wavelength of 253.7 nm. Waterborne pathogens remains inactive via a multi-barrier approach consisting of the Barrier UV system and other disinfection processes.
