Item Details AC/DC switching regulated power supply for running stepper motors and other equipment. This compact and light weight 24 watt desktop-type power supply is encapsulated and includes a 6 foot AC power cord, 6ft DC output cable connector with 2.5mm plug, and power ON LED. Output is current limited to about 2.5 amps. Use one power supply per motor. Recommended for any stepper motor 60mm or smaller, with 30% less torque and speed, compared to our 80W or larger power supplies. If you order this power supply with any Excitron stepper motor/controller and additional options, such as RS232 or USB adaptor at the same time, we will wire it all together and test for you without charge. This saves you time and costly mistakes, while giving you assurance it runs right out of the box. Note that we shorten the DC output cable to 12 to 18 inches, depending on motor size and amperage needs. This reduces DC voltage spikes and noise and increases performance.
