VALENO TubeStrip from EXCOR is a continuous VCI dispenser strand made of polyethylene that reliably protects hard-to-reach metallic surfaces inside cavities – such as tubes, cylinders, pipes or deep boreholes – against corrosion. The strand has a diameter of 2.5 mm and can be individually cut to the required length or even supplied in sections. Due to its flexibility, VALENO TubeStrip is also useful in cavities that are difficult to access due to their geometry. This eliminates what is often a necessary and costly liquid preservation process with oil, wax or grease as well as the subsequent cleaning. VALENO TubeStrip is easy to use and dependable, and at the same time extremely robust and abrasion-resistant. Due to its high stability, the VCI strand can also remain in the cavities during the lifetime of the component and ensure corrosion protection for many years, provided it is a closed air space.
