Werklicht® Video MeVis is used where quality is being measured and talked about. In this cases Werklicht® Video MeVis is a mean of communication which helps avoiding communication and interpretation mistakes.
Components in the car industry are tested with each other on the Meisterbock before manufacturing commences to ensure they fit together as required. Werklicht® MeVis can be brought into action if any disputes occur there regarding tenths of millimeters, or if clearance and gap flush are matters of debate.
First, data of the surface is gathered by using a 3D Scanner. Afterwards Werklicht® is displaying the large amount of measuring data directly on the work piece. The following process has established itself at the Meisterbock:
Large-scale measurement protocols are projected in order to identify the relevant problem areas in the assembly group. The next step involves highlighting the identified problem areas more precisely using further specific measurement data. MeVis can even project the CAD data of the components in order to provide even greater support to error analysis.
All in all, this compact and direct display of all available data on the assembly group ensures that technical communication is made simpler.
