Description

The cylindrical SCHULE shelling machine is used for gentle shelling of various cereals such as wheat, rye and barley, but also for processing legumes. The cylindrical shelling machine combines a high shelling degree with a low percentage of broken grains. Via a feed screw, the product is fed into the working chamber of the machine where a cylindrical stone set on a hollow shaft is surrounded by a screen basket. The outlet of the working chamber is completed by a plate the counter-pressure of which can be variably adjusted by springs. The product passes through this working chamber and is shelled by the cylindrical stone set. Depending on the set intensity, the husks are removed and either the surface is polished or adhering impurities are removed. The removed husks are sucked off through the screen basket by means of a separate, laterally mounted aspiration connection. Air cools the product during the shelling process and at the same time supports the discharge of husk particles and dust. Advantages of the cylindrical shelling machine: • Gentle and uniform load • Adjustable intensity • User-friendly and easy to maintain A circular screen can be installed downstream of the cylindrical shelling machine for control screening. This ensures that fine particles and husk fragments that have not been completely separated are screened out or aspirated. Pea Processing Plants SCHULE Mühlenbau, specialised for more than 100 years in husking, is very familiar with cleaning, hulling and refining of peas.
