Description

Main features series 920 Circular spindle housing Mounting flange Manual clamping system Modern cutting techniques need powerful and dynamic spindle drives. Our 920 series is a spindle concept that has been developed by our technicians and engineers from our customers applications in line with the market. The spindle design has been revised and standardised on the basis of numerous special types to obtain market-driven prices. The latest findings from the fields of bearings, motor technology, clamping technology, lubrication, sealing, sensor systems and materials have been implemented in the 920 series through innovative product development and practical engineering. The technology of the 920 series Tool holder HSK tool holders are available for the smaller sizes. The larger dimensions are fitted with short cones in accordance with DIN 55027. The tools are clamped and released by hand. The spindles have an integrated shaft encoder. Bearings High-precision bearings that are fitted with an initial tension are used as bearings. These have very good damping properties and a very good wear behaviour. The concentricity at the tool holder is <0.002mm. The smooth running of the spindles is achieved by a rigid construction and optimum balancing process. Direction of rotation The spindle can be operated in a clockwise and anti-clockwise direction.
