At FIPA you will find bellows suction cups with diameters of 4 - 350 mm.
Our full selection of suction cups can be found at www.fipa.com
Bellows suction cups are especially suitable for gently handling sensitive products. They facilitate seamless height and corner compensation for variable surfaces and will lift up the product right when the vacuum is turned on. The more bellows the suction cup has, the greater the lifting movement and thus the greater the height compensation. An increased number of bellows, however, reduces the lateral stability. This is why bellows suction cups are only recommended for vertical handling tasks.
FIPA bellows suction cups are available in different designs (generally 1.5 - 4.5 bellows). They can be provided with cleats against the product, cleats between the bellows, and without cleats.
Cleats against the product (cleats touch the material being handled):
- Increase stability and suction force
- Keep flexible product pieces from getting sucked in
- Prevent product slippage when vacuum is turned on.
Cleats between the bellows:
- Improve lateral stability
- Accelerate the placement process, since it keeps the bellows from sticking to each other
