Firwin SW1800 is a unique insulating blanket material with excellent performance in high-temperature applications with stability and resistance to chemical attack. SW1800 is unaffected by incidental spills of oil or water. Thermal and physical properties are restored after drying. This product has been specially developed to meet the demanding health and safety requirements of the European Union. They are therefore exempt from the requirement for labeling for carcinogenicity. Tests were carried out at the Fraunhofer Institute for Inhalation Toxicology in Hannover, Germany. FW1800 blanket is classified per UL 723 (ASTM E-84) Flame Spread Rating = 0, Smoke Developed Rating = 0. It is also classified by Underwriters Laboratories under “Batts and Blankets (BKNV)” in the UL Building Materials Directory, No. R8418.
