Dew-point control sensor is used for monitoring the temperature in cooling pipes or other cooled surfaces, to see if it drops below dew-point. The instrument is used to measure the relative humidity that is present, directly on the surface of the equipment's cooled part. Dew-point control sensor can be used for a wide range of applications such as influencing cooling power and switching cooling systems on or off. It is also useful to signal the point at which the temperature drops below the dew-point. The device can be used at critical climatic values without condensation starting to form.
