The VC and VR series of MELA® humidity/temperature sensors are compact and shaped like a rod. They are able to function in the most extreme of conditions and in a wide application range. These are available with a 1.5 m cable, without cable or with an aluminium connecting head and terminal screws as well. These help measure relative humidity and temperature in non-aggressive gases and air. They have an increased service life, even with high pollutant impact or more than 95 percent rh permanent humidity. The use of this series is not recommended when the air speed is high and there is a high number of particles involved. The VC and VR series sensors are ideal for equilibrium humidity measurements inside of bulk materials and brickwork.
