Automatic high-speed anchorless toothbrush line The AVT-E machine is an automated, high speed toothbrush production machine of sturdy and simple construction. Toothbrush heads are fed-in by means of a vibratory bowl feeder. The pre-endrounded filaments (by means of the FRM) are all picked simultaneously from up to 5 fibre boxes, and transported into the head plate by means of a vacuum technique, after which the filament tips are profiled, and the ends are fused together. The operator puts the electro-toothbrush handles on an infeed conveyor, and the AVT-E welds the tufted heads to the handles by means of an ultrasonic welding unit.
