Description

Designed for advanced ultra-supercritical (A USC) steam cycles, the STF-D1250 and STF-D2250 steam turbines push your plant efficiency to new levels, reducing the environmental footprint of coal power plants. Proven platform–advanced materials Both advanced ultra-supercritical steam turbine product families combine GE’s proven and fully modular philosophy with the results of more than a decade of material and design research on the 700 °C steam technology, which grants high availability and reliability. GE’s extensive portfolio of modern last stages ranges from 27” to 50” and allows configuration of the STF-D1250 and STF-D2250 with exhaust areas between 9m2 and a staggering 72m2, all offering GE’s proven nub-and-sleeve damping system with superior damping behavior at any flow condition. GE’s extensive know-how base and experience, combined with rigorously standardized engineering, design and manufacturing processes allow extensive customization for any application without compromising on quality, lead time, or operating reliability. Two high-performance turbine platforms designed to take steam power generation to new efficiency levels in both 50 and 60 Hz grids without compromising on operational flexibility. Robust and versatile turbine architecture built on GE’s proven USC platform proven over more than 20 years. Materials adaptations are limited to the high and medium pressure turbines, which ensures the high dependability and availability levels for which GE turbines are renowned.
