Description

The GEBHARDT StoreBiter® MLS is a highly dynamic shuttle system for operation with multiple storage levels. In a great many applications, the StoreBiter® MLS provides effective access, horizontally as well as vertically for the goods you are storing or retrieving. Compared to the tried-and-tested storage and retrieval machine technology, the shuttle warehouse offers advantages above all in terms of throughput and high storage density. The scalability and flexibility of the system enables several vehicles to travel on one rail, saving you space. With the MLS, GEBHARDT facilitates individual adaptability with regard to your building height and thus offers a customised solution for all your requirements. An Overview of the Advantages • Several levels of shuttle access with lift function • FEM-optimised lightweight design • Low maintenance and servicing costs • Robust and proven technology • Storage goods may exhibit a range of sizes • Flexibly expandable due to modular design • Goods-to-Person principle • Double or four-deep storage is possible As with a storage and retrieval machine, the MLS travels in an aisle in the middle of the shelf warehouse and transfers the goods to a transfer conveyor. In this variant, only one MLS shuttle is installed. The advantage over a classic storage and retrieval machine is that even achieve very low heights, for example 2 metres. This means that even low halls can be used efficiently or the MLS can serve as a production buffer.
