Description

Newest member of the PUK family of welders, the PUK 6 gives jewelers not only the power to handle larger welding jobs, the accuracy required for delicate tasks, but also the technology and ergonomics to make welding easy and comfortable. When you touch your workpiece to the electrode tip, a gas valve opens and an electric arc strikes the welding point. Immediately, the electrode withdraws into the handpiece for a preselected amount of time before extending again. All you need to do is adjust your workpiece as the PUK sends repeated individual pulses to form a bead. You can adjust the size and direction of the welds by manipulating the angle at which the electrode touches your workpiece. To stop welding at any point, just move your workpiece away from the electrode tip. This is an intuitive solution that gives you complete control over the process and prevents any mistakes. Made In Germany. Key Features: •Up to 3.3 welding spots per second: Welding sequence now up to 65% faster •Smoother, more homogeneous weld spots – excellent weld seam even with variable weld spot gaps •Higher heat input where needed: Perfect welding results even with critical materials •50% smaller welding spots in low power range •Minimal pulse duration now down to 0.1ms: 67% shorter welding time in micro mode •Standby mode: Continuous availability with 85% lower energy consumption •Patented welding process control prevents errors and enables even faster learning of PUK welding •Improved micro-mode helps you to achieve new welding possibilities with finer increments in the lowest performance range
