Description

Marking caliper • NESTLE forestry calipers are characterized by their comfortable handling. • The slide gauge handle can be moved without jamming while showing precise results. • Deep black figures on titanium-coloured anodized layer – easy to read even in the twilight. • NESTLE calipers are extremely resistant. The special alloy guarantees for a high flexural strength of the oval profile. • Anodized coating prevents the figures from abrasion and makes the caliper resistant against environmental influences. • Slide handle made of shockproof polyamide, measuring arm made of high-quality welded Aluminium. • The upper limit stop is 1cm above the lower one and calculates the waste of your saw automatically. • Available as Standard and “officially calibrated”*. * From 01.01.2018 on, our calipers are conformity evaluated according to module D1 (certificate DE-M-AQ-PTB144 issued by the PTB Braunschweig). (For Germany: The conformity evaluated calipers can be used indefinitely, as in the past the officially calibrated calipers. A recalibration is only needed in the case of a repair). Applications For use in forestry: • 2 functions: Marking and measuring diameters of tree trunks. • Suitable for use with hand or motor saws. • Place the mobile marker on any desired place on the trunk. • The lower stop of the caliper´s head is exactly 100cm away from the marker (only applies to Specht 80cm). • The upper stop is 1cm away from the lower stop which automatically generates the waste caused by the saw.
