Description

For magnetic filtration of small quantities of metal contamination from dry, free-flowing powders and granulates in non-pressurized pipes. Manual cleaning (quick cleaning).

Characteristics

2 magnetic grids, one above the other
Manual quick cleaning
Capacity 3 - 60 m³/h
Types basic/food
ATEX II 1/2 D

Application

This type of static Cleanflow/drawer magnet is suitable for dry, free-flowing powders and granulates in free-fall pipes. Not suitable for sticky/fatty powders, because they can result in clogging.
Design

The static, quick-cleaning Cleanflow magnets have two magnetic grids in a cascade configuration. All the standard types have extractor tubes for the bars (for 'quick cleaning'), so the captured iron (Fe) does not have to be 'wiped off' manually.
Types

Basic type: standard version and finish.
Food type: special hygienic version (food/pharma).
Pressure-tight type: the Cleanflows in this group are only for non-pressurised pipes. For pressure-tight Cleanflows up to 1,5 bar: see Pressure-tight Cleanflows group.

Cleaning

Once the product flow is stopped, the entire magnet unit must be removed from the product chute. Then the magnetic bars can be pulled out of the extractor tubes, causing the Fe particles to fall off of the extractor tubes.
