Dynamic Separators – DSAs – use the centrifugal movement of water to remove suspended solids from water. Removal capacity is 98% of all particles of a size greater than 75 microns and a weight greater than 1 kg/dm³.
Separating solids from water using centrifugal force
Grundfos Dynamic Separators are filters designed to reduce high-turbidity suspended solids from water, using the centrifugal motion of water to separate solid parts from the liquid. Dynamic separators have an excellent removal capacity of 98% of all particles of a larger size of 75 microns and a specific weight greater than 1kg/dm³.
Designed for simple operation and maintenance
Because Dynamic Separators rely on water flow, they do not require mechanical moving parts, which almost eliminates the cost of operation and maintenance. Their simple and efficient design makes them suitable for a number of water treatment applications including industrial and manufacturing.
DSA Series
Five models to cater for flow rates up to 66m³/h at operating pressures of 1-8 bar and temperatures up to 70°C.
Easy operation
Collected solids may be discharged continuously or intermittently (in manual or automatic mode).
Multiple configurations
Filters can be combined in various configurations (parallel, in series etc) to fit any application.
A range of filter options
Filter cartridges are available in food-safe polypropylene for residual solids, phosphate crystal to prevent corrosion and activated carbon for absorbing organic matter and removing colours.
