The Libra S22 is manufactured by Biochrom, and is a dual beam UV/vis spectrophotometer. It incorporates the Press-To-Read or PTR Xenon lamp technology. It has an eight-position charger and a rapid system operation. This device is an easy-to-use equipment offering optimal performance. It functions while removing optical noise and enhancing signal to background measurements. It measures transmittance, concentration as well as absorbance. These information may be shown in the interface and printed out using its built-in printer. End-users may enter specific equations through a multi-wavelength mode and up to eighteen methods may be stored in individual user-defined folders. The S22 can be operated with Resolution software, a powerful yet intuitive PC software for data acquisition and analysis.
