Description

This small format die-cutter and hot foil stamping machine is great for producing short run die-cutting work, such as presentation folders and irregular shaped direct mail pieces. With a maximum format size of 450 × 600 mm (17.72 × 23.62 in), the Multimatrix can hot foil and emboss folding cartons. The speed of 5,500 sheets per hour supports short to intermediate run lengths. The foiling version of the machine (FC) allows for hot foiling on a wide array of substrates. The honeycomb chase features a new fast heating device with four heating zones. The fast heating and quick exchange to a regular cutting chase are key make-ready timesavers with this machine. Excellent print-to-cut registration with Masterset. The Multimatrix 60 C can be equipped with Masterset, a camera based infeed mechanism that registers each sheet individually based on the location of print marks for excellent print-to-cut registration. Masterset was developed by Heidelberg and brought to market by Masterwork – not only on the Multimatrix, but also on the Promatrix 145 CSB and Powermatrix 106 CSB. It is particularly easy to maintain, as no linear drives are used – the sheet is positioned in all directions with the help of three rotating servo drives. Many digital print engines still print with noticeable register variations from sheet to sheet, so this system helps ensure the print-to-cut registration for each sheet individually. Key features • Small format die-cutter and hot foil stamping machine • Perfect for producing short and long run die-cutting work and also hot foil stamping and embossing • Excellent print-to-cut registration due to a camera based infeed mechanism • Short makeready time
