cam latch / steel / adjustable
The steel galvanised and blue chromated compression latch features black duroplastic DIN 6336 star grip. The compression latches are primarily used for doors and housings that emphasizes on higher pressure force on the seal. The closing process always runs clockwise making it usable on the right or the left. A notch for the locking pin is made in a Ø25 mm hole and the closure is inserted through the borehole. The tongue needs to be in the end position and in the center of the cutout to ush and fasten the nut. The latch features a water-tight design in accordance with IP 65.
The actuator is rotated clockwise to turn the tongue to 90° and brought into the closed position. On further rotation the tongue is pulled axially via the thread and thus increases the pressure force. The closure is unlocked by counterclockwise rotation. The tongue is positively opened in the end position, which guarantees secure opening even with sticky seals.
