Efficient double degassing system for effective evacuation of raw materials In order to produce polyurethane products with a compact structure, dissolved gas must be removed from the raw material. Hennecke's brand new VACUMAT double degassing system safely removes the residual gas from the raw material. The VACUMUT operates under full vacuum and has two degassing levels to ensure that perfectly evacuated raw material is obtained. The first level uses a rotating centrifugal disc (slinger) which produces a thin liquid film with an extremely large surface that is slung on to the side wall of the tank. The second level uses a specially developed drip plate that also creates a large surface before dripping into a 50 l reservoir. The independent unit automatically carries out several degassing cycles before the raw material is transferred to the metering machine for further processing.
