Nobody wants a machine tool collision, which is why Hennig XYZ modular face shields are designed to minimize the downtime caused by such mishaps in fast travel and high dynamic load environments. Consisting of a series of modules that attach to the machine, they act as an extra safety barrier that protects the area around the spindle, as well as sensitive components such as motors, electronics, and guides. They are also ideal for safeguarding multi-axis slideways and CNC feedback devices.
The modules can be built in any combination with:
Stainless steel or aluminum aprons
Telescopic steel covers
Lamella bellows
Fabric roll-ups
And more
A compact building block design allows for individual components of the shield to be Requed without replacing the entire system. All of our face shields are built to your specifications based on application, load, space requirements, aesthetic value, and cost. For your convenience, all our face shields come assembly-ready with all necessary parts.
TECHNICAL DATA
MECHANICAL/TRACK GUIDE SYSTEM
DESIGNED FOR ALUMINUM APRONS
The deflector or take-up system, depending on apron type, guides the apron in one or two directions
The available space on or inside the machine determines the shape of the apron guide—the design may redirect into an available space, or roll up spirally/elliptically in any position, including overhead
The nearly wear-free guide system is capable of high speeds up to 100 m/min (3936 IPM)
Acceleration up to 1g
