The AQ series of shaftless linear potentiometers represents a range of units for use in intrinsically safe environments according to Class I, II and III Division I, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F and G for hazardous (indoor/outdoor) NEMA 4 locations. These units feature a water-proof design that can deliver safe and reliable operation in wet, washdown and in-tank environments. They are equipped with dual wipers made out of rare metals and MystR� proprietary conductive plastic and enclosed in anodized aluminum housings for added durability and reliability. In addition they offer better shock and vibration performance and need considerably less installation space as they use a magnetic actuator.
