Description

Honeywell’s Model 427 wing union pressure sensors are robust machines ideal for use with Weco® 1502 fittings. Alternatively, the devices are known as Hammer Union pressure sensors. The model is based Honeywell’s widely-accepted Wing Union one-piece design made of all-welded, stainless steel with hermetic seal. The Model 427 (±0.2 % BFSL [Best Fit Straight Line] ensures smooth flow of media blends using its broader and shallower sensing port. It is suitable in challenging land-based and offshore applications for oil and gas exploration and drilling. Examples include fracturing and cementing, mud pumping, measurement of well head, standpipe, and simulation of well. The Model 427 helps in detecting pressure changes by delivering precise and dependable data. This enables the operator to promptly adjust the media flow pressure while drilling. This also helps drilling operators to efficiently manage oil withdrawal rates. The safety of operators is increased by profiling possible risks such as gas bubbles. Model 427 has several other features such as fast installation and ease-of-service.
