Complementing our existing I/O systems (Snap-On, Modbus, CAN) we've added yet another way to handle your Input/Output signals.
SmartRail combines the compactness and clean look of Sliced I/O system with the Hi-Speed Ethernet interface and a higher density.
The SmartRail Ethernet I/O Base is one of three offerings, along with CsCAN (February 2011) and Profibus DP. This allows it to work great with OCS, or even with third party controllers.
