Open circulation gangways are designed to provide a safe and comfortable transition between the carriages of a train or tramway. Thanks to their self-supporting design, these solutions require no additional vertical support, eliminating interference with the vehicle’s drawbar and reducing wear and maintenance.

Our gangways are made from fire & smoke homologated rubber, reinforced with metal plates for the floors and integrated fabrics for the bellows. The floor is level with the vehicle, allowing easy access for wheelchairs and baby carriages. The gangways are fully enclosed and sealed, protecting passengers from external conditions. They offer high acoustic and vibration insulation, reducing noise between cars.

Hutchinson equips high-speed trains, Parisian metros (MP89CA/CC – MP05NG – MP14) and regional metric railcars (AMG800). We also develop all types of interconnecting solutions, such as airport footbridge bellows.
