The DFC100 cell module is a plug&play electricity generator with a rated output of 100W. The module consists of a 100W DFC cell stack integrated into a thermal enclosure. The module is equipped with electrical and gas connections and integrated air and fuel preheaters. The double-sided solid oxide (DFC) cells developed at HydrogenTech are based on an all-ceramic design with active layers integrated symmetrically on both sides - thus increasing the active surface area while reducing the overall dimensions of the cell. The lack of metallic inteconnectors SOFC cells eliminates the problem of material compatibility at nominal operating temperatures of 600-800 ⁰C.
The module is optimized for laboratory testing of solid oxide cell technology and can function as a technology demonstrator for research units. The DFC cell stack enclosed in the module can be fuelled with hydrogen, methane or natural gas in internal reforming mode.
Compact design
Our small SOFC (Solid Oxide Fuel Cell) modules are the ideal solution for laboratory applications requiring low power. Each module consists of stacks of cells housed in a dedicated thermal enclosure that ensures optimal operating conditions and reagent flow.
Plug&play integration
The modules are equipped with all the necessary gas and electrical connections for easy and fast integration into existing systems. The modules can be supplied with a dedicated test infrastructure.
